Christmas day is December 25, when commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem according to the Gospels of San Mateo and San Lucas. The origins of thanksgiving started in 1620,a boat of more than 100 english colons called the pilgrims.They were hungry and had cold, some indians helped them to make corn, to hunt and to fish. The pilgrims wanted to thanks the indians and that was called the first thanksgiving.The indians carried meet of deer and turkey for eat. Years passed, it was in times of the independendence, the congress said that it will be a day for a time of fun, George Washington said that it will be on Novembember 26.
Then it was a war, very sad and Abraham Lincoln said that it will be the last thanksgiving day.


Thanksgiving is a day for share opinions and dreams, it is a time for thinking about God, about our family and friends, it is a day for thanks the things we have.People usually go to family and friends houses most of the time with the grandparents, they eat the traditional food like turkey and meet.Some people go to visit poor families and gave them food or gifts.

It is the 1st to the 2nd of November, it is in Oxana Mexico.
They decorate the graves of their family or friends that had dead. They use colorfull dresses and do a carnival in all the streets. The most traditional food is the bread of dead (pan de muerto). They do this celebration because years ago there was a woman called the lady of the dead, she did this festival.
